I just read the news saying that you sped up the late game Air and Naval AI by 500%. You are all truly wonderful! I'm so looking forward to AoD.
Paradox really are a strange company, in my opinion. I say that because they write games then release to market and the work is in many ways unfinished. There is their dedicated patching which continues for a long time, but they quickly move on to the next project. I can't help but think they could possibly spend a bit more development time for a big increase in playability of their games. Similarly, aim for less features but have better code maturity where issues like a 500% increase in late game AI speed are addressed.
I would love to look inside their financial books to understand the business dynamics of their company because their model could be driven by their economic situation.
However, I suppose AoD have spent many, many man hours over two years developing this expansion. I find myself wondering where the line of economic viability lies in terms of polishing complex game code before releasing to market.
Cheers,
