Well, now if only there was a resource site for non-liberal and non-leftists politics. That site only covered liberalism and socialism, if you can find a reference for conservatism and extreme rightism, that be good to add, too.
I'm not sure how you guys are basing your IC allocation, but here's a site for 2002 GDP per country. I think it's a good way to start, although some tweaking might be necessary for gameplay.

is it me or is it kinda weird for countries to show their military on line for everyone?
Most countries already know everything about each other. It might also be considered "good faith", showing that you have no reason to hide the information since you aren't planning anything.
In HoI the information is kind of like the ledger. In real wars (not Iraq
) all troop movements and new deployments would probably cease to be posted.
