Hey! Our devs are always doing what they can to keep the game as optimised as possible, and are always testing performance thoroughly on both Xbox One & PS4. With games that simulate to the level of detail that Surviving the Aftermath does, it is a reality that the limited memory of consoles can take a hit during longer sessions, and at later stages of the game where there's a lot more going on. Keeping this to a minimum has always been a priority, though, and the latest DLC has been tested to ensure it won't exacerbate any memory demands.
That said, if your game is crashing every 5-10 minutes, that's definitely unusual and could be a problem with something else. Has it always been this way? Does it crash frequently with an older save or when starting a new game as well? If you haven't yet tried clearing the Xbox cache, you could do that and see if it helps!
