Resolution for widesrceen monitor?

You could just adjust your display settings so that the game doen't display as widescreen. That's what I did for my laptop.

For Victoria the original there was a resolution changer that worked well. I don't know if it works with Ricky yet, because the page that hosted it (Unknown's workshop) is down.

EDIT: For laptops, Vicky with the resolution changer displayed perfectly in 1440x900. It actually looked better than in the original resolution on a CRT screen.

I guess there is not much hope out there
