Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone else has the frustrations as I do when a Science Ship finds and researches an Anomaly.
When said Anomalies leave a secondary Project, the Scientist then decides "I'm leaving this really important thing here that I just found, to go and explore something else instead"

It gets annoying that Science Ships do not automatically research the Projects found as part of an Anomaly. Is there any reason why this is part of the way the game works?

Remember that some project mais require a different ship (constructor, transport, nothing) so they aren't necessary like anomalies.
Plus some projects trigger events and it can be sometime a good idea to not do them.
But yeah for those that still require the science ship (the majority let's face it), a pop up window to add the order in first position like for anomalies would be nice.

Researching projects stops research on actual tech, while your scientists focus on the project. It would be nice to have an option to automate it, but I doubt that most people would ever use it.

We're talking about what happens with Automatc Exploration orders, right?

This has bothered me since day one of Stellaris.

There should have the same option as anomalies do to just put an order to do it immediately without interrupting the work order.

Consider two user flows:
The science ship discovers an anomaly
Step 1) popup with anomaly description and options to
a) investigate
b) leave be for now
c) investigate with different scientist
Any of the above concludes the flow, this is a 1 step process that does not interrupt your current task

The anomaly finishes and you get a research project
Step 1) find the system where the project is
Step 2) select the science ship
Step 3) Left click on the anomaly
Step 4) Hold Shift + ctrl (or you will have to redo the ships orders)
Step 5) Click "research project"
Step 6) Go back to your original task

If the notification for research projects also had a button that said "research immediately with closest vessel" you could turn 6 steps into 1.

Anyone who is not bothered by this has stockholm syndrome.

Agreed would be nice.

Tip: ctrl+shift+click adds an order to beginning of queue.

Useful if your science ship is still in the same system.

Over 1k hours and I had no idea this was a thing. I thank you sir/madam for saving the frustration of having to re-queue the scan route!
