Ha, great, I never believed that he's a real Person 'cause with the german transcriptet Name I found him only in the german novel.

But it seems he wasn't killed by sternberg.

FCZP, can you post a small biography of sipaylov in english? just for my personal interest, I'm very interested in Sternberg's Mongolia, one of my Hobby I'm in love with.
I have seen that with his full russian Name there are many sites about him, but Google translate give not really sensefull sentences. Was he really such a sadistic, absolute mad killer like Krauthoff wrote in his novel?
Interesting too to look how detailed Krauthoffs suspect, unnamed sources are. Maybe it's really more that "just an anti-red-reality-bending-novel" (what is generally believed in the historiology)?

edit: maybe as a PM? 'cause it is a bit OT? Not sure if the DH Devs interested too in the Story of one single guy...

I'm starting to suspect you're talking about the guy we called "Stepanov" and that we added as Minister of Security:
colonel Stepanov, Colonel (Chief of Manchuli Police; chief of the railway militia; arrested and prosecuted by the Chinese in 1921)

No.

Colonel Stepanov can be include in game as usual military leader.
Colonel Sipaylov (Sipaylo) never commanded Manchuli Police or the railway militia, but he was military commander of Urga.
