I'd like to increase the number of tech teams, but not increase the overal rate of research. to do this requires a modier so that if for exampl I doeuble the number of teams, each researches at half the current rate.

whilst we can mod the starting research modifer, this is subsequently altered by the computing techs - which distorts the desired ratio between no. of teams and tech speed.

You can always go through industry tech file and lower research bonuses if thats whats causing disbalance for you.

its messier and more time consuming, and you also have to mod all the 1936 scenario files as the base research speed is set separately from misc.txt for those scenarios.

a multiplier in the misc.txt would be much simpler for modders to work with.

Well you can simulate what you want kinda, with this:

	0.000925 #0.0 #full bonus after 3 years post historical

First value will make it harder to research for example, if you start a 37' tech in 36', and second value will reduce bonus you get if you start research in 40' for a tech from 36'.
