Hi,
i am encountering certain limits, like the netsegments and netnodes limit. I understand that it's not actually possible to up that and thats final. But. Can you upgrade other limits, like, the citizen instances limit?
Currently i am pushing the limits with a 700k city. Thanks for making this awesome game so this was possible. I want to push it to the edge and get to the 1 million, but it seems no one is on the streets. Vehicle limit not reached with around 10k vehicles. However, instances is almost at max, so is citizen units. I can build more workplaces and unemployment drops, but the more i place to get the city vital the less activity i see.
It seems like i can get to 1 million with the city like this, just let it run for 100 hours and im there. I even took out waterpipes to get that crucial detail above ground. But, the city it self feels like its no longer there. Streets are empty, parking lots are filled. Just some dummy traffic would be nice? Anyway i don't really understand how the city or any other city gets to one million with the limits, fudging it up all the way up till the end i guess and thats fine, really, but i still hope you can tweak a bit. In short, i believe i need more citizen instances or at least a way to allocate them.
I use a ton of mods and i love it. It's a necessary evil imo. For example, i use the fairly unknown nursing home mod. It gives me an excuse to place parking lots next to bicycle roads, make a block of appartments wich is very common over here and it just looks neat. The idea that seniorhomes create jobs and create a better flow on the residential housing market suits me very well, i think it is a correct philosophy and it has been proven to work. Without knowing OP, i would highly advise to find it and contact the OP, because this would be an awesome 5$ DLC.
To the point, can you please think about the seniors in this game, because someone informed me they still are counted in the unemployment data for example. I don't know much about, but please fudge it up so that the city has a better flow, seniors are pulled out of the equasian and should be given a status aparte, so instances drop etc
Thanks for reading
ps i really noticed after reading this 'The nursing home mod' has become seemless with my gaming experience, because of the flow on the housing market, more younger families have a home, more jobs are created and also some spacing effiency wich is very nice all together and proven crucial in a big city pushing it into a full experience that worked like a charm up to this point. Sorry for that.
