Requesting Crusades

I've noticed that as of late I can't request Crusades from the Pope as a Catholic anymore. I've got all the requirements that are listed on the wiki, and on the many threads I've seen this question asked on. New Pope, Crusade hasn't been called in X amount of years, all of my laws are in place, Pope is independent, and owns land, and yet no option to request a Crusade. I've tried both right clicking the Pope's portrait, and the target I'd like to request, still no luck. Am I missing something? Was Crusade requesting removed? I'm using latest version of vanilla CKII, the only mods I'm running are for graphical changes.

Has the same pope already called a crusade previously? It can only be done once in a lifetime. Also, when you do request a crusade, you do it by right-clicking the target.

No, I've tried many times with Popes that have not previously called a Crusade. The option seems to have vanished from my game.

The moral authority is at 100, still no option. Quite unfortunate, I'd like to have the kingdom of Egypt before the Ethiopians get to it.

It's strange, I've seen this option available to me before, in prior version of the game. It seems to have vanished a few patches ago, and I never seemed to have noticed.

I checked the wiki and the one thing that I could find that is not yet accounted for is the 500 Piety cost. Well, that and truces, but I doubt you have a truce with Egypt.

Currently I have over 3,000 piety, and no truce with Egypt. A Crusade has not been called in quite some time, but I'm not sure the exact number of years. However in all the other attempts I've made, I was sure the Crusade had not been called in the past 30 years, it was a different Pope, and I had more than enough Piety. It's making my conquest of Arabia quite a bit longer than I'd planned, to say the least.

I dont have much experience with calling crusades. None at all actually. But doesnt the pope need to have 500 piety aswell?
