I really like this game, it takes my favorite part of EU4 and takes it a step further. However, the game is extremely user unfriendly compared to EU4, and requires way more micro than it should.
From what I understand, the game is written in C++. I know C++ and would love to tinker around with the game since development has stopped. I would also like to use it as a learning tool for game development.
Thanks!

Honestly, at this point Paradox might as well just turn HOI4 into an RPG maker toolkit. It's close, but not there yet.

Because Paradox decided to not go with Vic3, ENB modders are making their own version with the HOI4 engine.

How the heck are they doing that? Does it actually have POPs, different resources, all that?

copyright should just be abolished outright. I seriously doubt PDX will ever make any of their abandoned games open source, March, Sengoku, etc. Because some of that code is probably in newer games anyway. They want to keep their monopoly on the PDX style of game.

It would be very good open source, what they are doing with Caesar 3 is now incredible, imagine with march of the eagles here.
