With the new patch, my clan leader's children whom I made daimyos/kokujins are more inclined to arrange marriages for their children, even with some occasional useful marriages, eg with neighbouring clans or vassals.
However, the bulk of their children remains unmarried, or gets married to some old fellows/hags that are more than twice their age and of the same dynasty. Considering the relation bonus that comes with 1st - 3rd wives or husband, this is certainly very annoying to any player's dynastic plans.
So for gameplay improvement reasons, is it possible that we allow players to arrange marriages for their grandchildren/nephews etc? Because now the only way to do so is to load up as the clan leader's children to secure marriages for the grandchildren, but doing so risks the ai clan leader making retarded decisions.
Perhaps a way to balance this to put in a relation/honour penalty between the clan leader and his child should the clan leader overwrite his child's opinion and arrange marriages for his grandchildren.
