Well, I'm not a flagmaker, just "cataloguer" (hehehe).

Shield, flag and counter for all these flags in DH style. All of them in normal HOI2 size (even if some of them are differently-sized; I want them all with the same dimensions). Thank you in advance!

Hrm. Since the flag and shield are .png files, they don't seem to be working? I converted them to bitmaps but they aren't showing up in game.

Well, not truly a change of heart, but I wanted to focuse on US flags first and didn't wanted to post all that load of flags at once. I would have posted these other flags again later on, so thank you anyway.
Uploaded as BMPs this time but in less quality. Don't know how the others manage to convert the PNGs without problems
And that file crashes the game. Wah. What's everyone doing to get the images to work?
Make sure you save them as 24bit RGB bitmaps, using the GIMP or Photoshop. They may not load otherwise or cause other problems like you've experienced.
The size of a shield file should be around 36kb (in my experience at least) and if its different this can sometimes mean its in the wrong format.
