Since land exploration in Afro-Eurasia isn't a lot of fun (why would you want to manually redirect your army through lands with which you have nothing to do?), here's a diplomatic option I'd like to see implemented: Request Map. It works similar to military access, except that's more about showing Terra Incognita.
Right now there's a Mongolia in the middle of Asia in one of my games. I can see two provinces and the name placement, but I'd like to know more about them. With Request Map, they let me show their true size.

Good idea, But it has to come with some kind of balance, Not so that you can see the whole of their map by a click of a button but only certain parts of it, I think that should also require positive relations and (perhaps) a bit of money?

But another problem is, Not all countries had maps or advanced maps that europoors can make out

how about having this replace map discovery spreading? Or have map discovery spreading take a lot longer? Uncovering the whole map halfway through the game strikes me as a bad thing.

I was thinking the other day about making Old World exploration automated like it is in the New World. But, when your Conquistador reaches the border of a state, you get a special event that in some way allows your Conquistador access to explore the nation. Perhaps if you have high enough relations, he's allowed to explore freely, but if not, you have to cough up some money or something else to be allowed access. In some cases, nations you are on particularly bad terms with would refuse to allow your Conquistador in entirely.

But in any case, it's hugely irritating to have to do the "Ask for access, explore, ask for access in the next nation, then cancel access in the first nation" shuffle to explore the Old World...
