Ok titel is a bit misleading but my thaught was if Germany i.e. HRE was a conglomeret of Dukes all under one elected leader, then by all means all Dukes should be Kings, thierby the leader of the HRE the Emperor having the Kings as Vassels, when converting into EU2 it allows for more nations to be thier ofhan instead of one massive blob lol.

Dukes were mostly considerd Kings wernt they?? or at least should get some more freedom ingame then having the whole HRE DoW one singal enemy and taking the land away.

This is just a thaught though, id like more to see more Freedom to play with as a Duke and not have some Elector look over shoulder and take opertunity of my kill, also if you are at War with some one or i shoudl say dispute in say the HRE the Elector and others shouldnt get involved realy, to much stacked against you.

If I understand you correctly you want another tier-level in the game

count - duke - king - emperor (HRE).

Correct ?

If so then that will not happen in this patch or any other patch for CK, maybe CK2.

Has been discussed many, many times :)

Yea thats the kind of thing i was thinking of, im not very good some times at explaining this like this via writing  well thiers alway a chance it can happen, after all Paradox are magicians

Might not be so hard to introduce a tier 4 might be might not be have to see.

Also im aware its been descussed alot, i think the general concenus is that people would like it to be like this, in 4 Tiers.

or.. you can beef up all the dukes titles in HRE to have King status and still be vassals of the 3iple king :D which is ludicrous idea anyway :D

Renamed for clarity

And like Veld says, fourth tier has been requested many times and it won't be forthcoming in any patch of CK.

If you just want the Dukes to be converted into independent nations in EU2, why, my converter does exactly that. [/blatant self-promotion]

On the note of your other suggestion, about the electors not interfering, if this is an issue of your superiors taking the land you partly win in a war for themselves then...well...you're telling me you've never done that as a higher-tier player? ;)

As for the electors in the HRE specifically not all ganging up against each other, that I agree with - and there have been several requests to make situations such as the feudal contract coded so that the liege may not get involved in inter-vassal warfare.

Tiers could be worked this way:

Count - Duke - Prince-Elector/King - Emperor

which would mean in conversion to EU the elector states (Saxony, the Pfalz, Brandenburg, etc) would be separate from HRE.

Yes, if you accept that the electors of Germany were of an equally prestigious and powerful position as the Kings of the likes of England and France, since you presume to elevate them to an equal tier with equal capabilities with regard to vassals and prestige score.

It would work fine for a convertor, but not for an actual CK game. Far better to write a convertor which considers all duchies in the HRE to be independent and grants the title of Emperor to the personal demense and holdings of the Emperor at the time the conversion is done.
