Request for more icons please.

I'm loving the icons you can choose for your divisions but I was wondering if the devs will be adding any country specific ones? Like German helmets and British tanks for example?

Call me dumb: but is it easy or complicated to mod these little icons .... can I e.g. simply put them into "windows paint", screw them over and re-save them ?

Probably not MS Paint, but you will sure be able to edit them in GIMP or Photoshop or any such applications capable of opening advanced file types.

Hopefully adding something like that won't change your checksum so you can still use it in ironman and or multiplayer

Because Podcat said that pure artistic mods won't change the cheksum. Makes sens, if your soldier look different, that dosn't mean the mechanic work different.

art dlc/mods do not affect checksum so are fine in ironman

yeah this could be true for older titles that generated map datafiles. I dont think it is anymore though.

The checksum is basically there to make sure the game is the same for everyone in MP. Otherwise anyone could cheat, or worse it would go out of sync very quickly or crash.
