The current rust brown <<Warning, overheat, Warning!!>> or what ever can't be seen in the middle of most fights.
It pops up for a 1/10th of a second while I click fire..
Can this PLEASE get changed to "WARNING THIS ACTION WILL OVER HEAT YOUR MECH. Click YES to proceed, NO to exit!" or something...

The number of times I've had to load a save game because of this is stupid.

But...it's right there in the Lower Left of the Screen, your Heat Gauge is the Top bar, that fills with Red. Turning weapons off (the buttons on the right) keeps your heat low.

These same bars also show up above each mech on the field. How many more Warnings does one need?

But soetimes you misread the Heatbar bcs you look at it b4 selecting a Target and it is in good shape and after selecting you overheat bcs first it showed the heat if you cool down the turn and then you do not cool down but add heat on top of it and dang it!

I did that twice but i am an experienced Player i can understand that a Player new to the stuff totally gets fucked up by that and the Little overheating warning on both sides of the fire button b4 pulling the trigger is often blending into the map so well i realized that 20h into the game that it is there.

So it should be made better visible - i support that.

A REALLY BIG ONE.. I play at 2560x1600. Those bars are TINY.. In the heat of the moment(Pardon the pun) I don't see them. I'm cycleing back and forth through multiple mechs, and it gets lost. Seriously.. If these are the pinnacle of combat technology, WHY would they not have a BIG BIG warning when you go to shoot and will cook you're mech. A simple popup, "Do you REALLY wanna do this?"

Not all of us play this as a slow methodical tabletop game. Some of us play FAST.. and frankly, the way the warnings only pop up once you've selected a hostile, I'm already moving my mouse to the fire button, and don't see the warnings. Hence my request for a BIG confirmation window. It's only logical.

It's irritating the way it works now since there's a lot of things going on in the battlefield.
Maybe it is just me but I've managed to overheat by clicking too soon on attack button at least a few times T_T.

Mitch answered to that in a Paradox stream (the day of the game release iirc) : as, in some cases, you WANT to overheat they think the current warning is enough, otherwise their fear is that new comers to BattleTech universe DON'T use it at all because the game tell them it's a really really bad thing.
