Republics and Monarchies

On the wiki I see nations being referred as to "Democratic Republic", "Constitutional Monarchy", etc. My question is, will they have any difference in gameplay? I know Communist/Fascist dictatorships will play diferently from them, but within Democracy, what matters if you have a king or a president?

Well, the head of state will change differently. Other than that, I'm not sure of any mechanics being in.

Yeah, but the head of state changes with every tag. Maybe Constitutional Monarchies will have their monarch as a National Spirit, while republics not? Will prime ministers be represented in parliamentary republics (like France) or just their president (like the USA)?
