Report on President Afiya Biobaku of Republic of Sol’s presidency
By Chief Chronicler Markus Grebe
The Presidency of Afiya Biobaku is a story of enourmous glory to the republic. She received Sol a medium power, struggling together with Orassia to keep the devouring swarm of Qasvalyvia at bay. She left her as one of the prime powers of the galaxy, greatly expanded and with Qasvalyvia a mere shadow of herself, a thing most definitely of the past.
It wasn’t a clear-cut thing that this would be the state in the early years of her term. The republican navy and the federal navy was of equal size and had a strength each of almost 10k. Qasvalyvia’s main fleet alone had a strength of almost 29k. Sol and Orassia was outnumbered.
But Qasvalyvia was surrounded by enemies, courtesy of their evil ways. As such this immense power was kept inside her borders, and President Biobaku started a huge buildup of the republican fleet. Three years after the numbers above, Sol presided over a fleet with a strength of almost 17k, with the federal fleet of the same size as before. Sol was ready to strike, but the Presidency of the Solar Compact and the leadership of the war was in Orassian hands. And they chicked out, securing a white peace. In the meantime the Kel-Azzans had declared war on the Qasvalyvans, and was making gains. President Biobaku fumed, but continued the buildup of the republican navy. She was reelected in 2370 on the promise of continuing building up the navy, take the fight to Qasvalyvia and crush them.
And crush them she did. In 2373 the Qasvalyvians lost their war with the Kal-Azaans and were in shambles. Their navy was all but gone. Three years later the peace treaty between Sol, Orassia and their Qasvalyvian enemies were over. A declaration of war, claiming 3/4th of their territory, was sent. Qasvalyvia was never going to be be allowed to return to her former glory!
Soon the first Qasvalyvian planet saw this sight:
One by one the planets fell. Two years in, the last big armada was beaten to a pulp:
In 2380 reelection is secured for President Biobaku on the promise of finishing what she started. She is 102 years old, and she promise this will be her last term. It was, as she would die in office five years later. But not before having achieved three major things.
Firstly, the war was won. Qasvalyvia was a rump state.
Second, she prepared the ground work for a renewal of the human and alien races within the republic:
This had a rocky start, with one of Sol’s colonies remaking themselves without the planned governmental control:
And third and lastly, she initiated colonization of a large number of planets, both outside, but mostly inside, the conquered areas.

This was the state of the galaxy at the end of President Afiya Biobaku’s term in office:
Outside of the conquered area in the galactic north west, President Biobaku oversaw the colonization of seven planets:
Patagonia, a desert planet in the Evarym system. It produces a large amount of energy for the republic.
In the Cyban system, there is a whole three planets. Xianyang, an alpine world. Wunzhou, a tundra world, and La Isabella, tomb world that has the only meta-human population in the galaxy as for now:
Serendipity, a desert world in the Oreb system:
Oceania, an ocean world in the Diphda system:
And finally, the savannah world of New Coventry in the Soiu system:
Inside the conquered areas, where the hive population – now cut off from the hive mind – slowly withered and died, there were five uncolonized worlds suitable for colonization.
These were Wang Tong, a tundra world in the Taranba system:
Congo, a tropical world in the Haedus system:
Storm, a tropical world in the Ussaldon system:
Blizzard, a tundra world in the Riddigus system:
And finally, Tuscany – a tomb world in the Oscurn system:
Thus, ends the report.
