1876-1877: The great war of Poland
As the war started, all polish forces immediatly started to advance, and all battles were won

firstbattles.JPG

At the half of february, Prussia offered a white peace, but Poland wanted its lands!

In may Russia accepted peace with Prussia - Bromberg to Poland, Hurray!

situationinjune.JPG

Situation in June

In october, Russia gave control of about 60 thousand men to Poland, it was a major help, though the war seemed to be really easy.

At the start of the year 1777, Berlin had almost fell, and polish and austrian armies were still vital.

january-berlin.JPG

February 19th Berlin fell, and Prussia was asking for peace - but that wasn't a good peace, war continued.

At May, whole eastern Prussia was conquered, and unfortunately there wasn't a way to get to western parts.

At June, Prussia accepted peace, Elbling, Danzig, Torun and Deutch Krone. Three provinces were still held by Prussia. (And one by Austria)

I am wondering how your relations are w/ other European countries, especially potential enemies of Prussia.

Austria +200, Russia +200, defensive alliances with both ;) Easy job.

How did I became Poland
I scripted events, as there already is a tag for Poland (and one even for Danzig!)

Though my triggers didn't work correctly, I triggered some events by console.

In my event, I needed to own 70% of polish territories, no requirement to have Warsaw or Danzig or something.,

emptyheaded Hey, przemek, I think Poland only goes from sea to land.

Well Poland used to spread for over a million square kilometers and reached from Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. It was around XV, then XVI/XVII century.

Nellaf Do you know any way how to get original Victoria in Poland?
Tough thing. After what CDProjekt . did to Europa Universalis 2, Diablo II and exp pack and earlier Codena . to Europa Universalis (I bought all of them spending average Polish wage) I WILL NEVER BUY GAME TRANSLATED INTO POLISH . ! If it wasn't enough that they screwed up translation, they had to destroy the map in EU2 (badly drawn with borders drawn through the middle of some provinces!).

So, I have no idea where to buy it in Poland and I don't intend to wait, because i may not live long enough :(

Very Good Elmokki. What I wonder about all the AARs is, how you manage to make so much money. You started your game with an one-province minor who had to import nearly everything. Yet, you enacted all political and many social reforms, which all require a lump sum and monthly payments.

Yet you even had enough money to buy provinces, to keep your education high and to build railroads and factories. And if you had massive loans, you would have to pay interests. In your AAR it seems as if all of this is trivial and I have heard nothing which could explain this to me. Maybe it's so easy, that you don't mention it, but could you please explain to us, how you actually manage your economy and your population?

Anyways, big thanks go out to you, for making this AAR.

Arrh, problem is, that I don't know which provinces are which, when you say names in forums.

at one of yours screenshots I saw province called Bialystok, so I thought i speak simply ;). It's between Lomza and Suwalki (probably Suwalki, I don't know name of the province in game). Bialystok isn't rich city but very important for polish nationality and culture :p

When I said, that I won't live long enough, I ment, that it takes montsh to buy game after european premiere, or game just can't be bought in Poland, and even if, it's so expensive, that buying it has no point. You pay a lot of money just for carboard box and a cd. You get nothing more, maybe besides 15pages of manual, that is useless due to bad translation.

That is messed up, if it is true. :( One of my best friends was called Przemek although he lived in Raciborz not in Gdynia.

Krakow had a lot of capitalists at start, so I had positive budget from the start. Then, when I got enough money, I just built a luxury furniture factory. That and educating one pop to craftsmen gave me ~£36 per day, and I just had to buy tropical wood (cheap), and furniture (medium priced). Then, more and more clerks and capitalists, and railroad tech from other countries, and I'm a industry giant.

I really hope they make luxuries less profitable in 1.02...
