In most Cultures in this Time frame Slavery was a thing. I would make Slavery acceptance a Religious Doktrin. My idea to represent this is in events, like Revolts or Building Boost after a event about this.
But the important option is with Characters. Order some slaves via decision in your court and free them, give them jobs and you can tell cool stories about a nobody who came to power. they have a former slave trait which gives - 15 opinion for all, but +30 opinion for other former slaves (or something else). Make some cool events for them, other Noblemen can be angry about this decision, Former slaves can be a loyal part of your inner circle etc.
