Out of curiosity, how many and what are the bugs that have been currently reported after the December updates? I know of two in regards to Park Count resets and pedestrian/cyclists traffic routes not displaying. Are there more problems? If so, are there fixes in the horizon?

There is the resource storage over import bug, the most game-breaking of them all that makes any raw resource import impossible. (well, technically possible if you're fine with contending with cycles of 255 trucks per storage)

Off the top of my head, these are the bugs that made me stop playing the game and wait for the devs to fix the mess they made. Some of them were introduced after the September update (1.15), others in December (1.16).

-Pedestrian and cyclist paths not showing
-Police don't visit DLC airports causing crime buildup (constant red icon)
-Park visitors reset to 0 each time you reload (need to leave the game running 24/7 if you want to level up parks)
-Resource storage import bug (detailed above)
-Train spawn points in wrong place on Airport Cargo Station (causing trains to only use one of the platforms)

Oy, and it seems that there are more popping out every day. What's frustrating is that there is no ETA on when or if all these glitches will be fixed....

I can confirm I've seen the first 4.
Only noticed 1st a few days ago because I haven't used the path tool a long time. It is annoying when I want to follow my cims getting around but I don't know where they're going without clicking them one-by-one.
2nd has probably been around a long time. Personally it doesn't bother me.
3rd I noticed since Plazas & Promenades. It bothers me a little, not much as Parklife Parks are OP anyway.
4th since Roads & Vehicles. It is game-breaking and totally takes away one legit feature of the game.
I never noticed the 5th because I only have 1 city that uses Airport Cargo station, and I stopped playing that one because of over-import bug.

1. It works normally in my city
2. It is true that a crime icon constantly appears, however I have noticed that the police do arrive, but it takes time to do so
3. This happened to me but with the days it stopped happening, I don't know if they updated or it was solved out of nowhere
4. I haven't noticed
5. The same thing happened to me, but I was able to solve it, I connected a platform to the outskirts of the city and another to the industrial zone, now both platforms work for me

1. Lots of people have confirmed this bug, you're the first one who says they haven't seen it. We're talking about the paths in the visualization overlay btw, not actual bike paths.

2.. If police happen to drive past by pure chance, they will clear the icon temporarily. If your road network is set up such that police frequently drive past the airport on their way to other buildings, it's possible they will clear the icon fairly regularly. You can also force police to visit the airport by looping 1-way streets so they're forced to drive past the airport. Of course having to design your city in such a way just to work around a bug is absurd.

3. It seems to depend on whether the park was built before the patch or after, among other things. It might not happen all the time, but it's enough to be game-breaking if you're trying to level up a park and you have to quit and reload the game.

4. Lots of other people have

5. Again, having to specially design your city to work around major bugs in the game is not acceptable. It's a city simulator, not a Bug Simulator.

Also add to the list since the P&P free update if you do not have the Natural Disasters DLC there are no fires starting in the city.

Can confirm, I forgot about that one since I have Disasters (well the entire game is a Disaster right now, but I mean the DLC)

The invisible RHD buses is what gets me. That should have been squashed and hotfixed within a week.
Yeah bugs happen, it's just unavoidable in a complex game like this. The frustrating thing is just how long it's taking them to fix bugs. It seems every bug needs to be "investigated" for 5+ months, even when they've confirmed the existence of the bug.

Remember when the "Allow Intercity trains" button just broke out of nowhere and it took them so long to fix it someone had to make a mod just to make that button functional again... The level of QA is just embarrassing for such a popular game with so much paid DLC. It's ironic when you remember that the popularity of the game basically comes from how EA mismanaged the SimCity franchise.

I purchased all five versions of SimCity. Maxis did a great job with maintaining the game. Then comes along EA and things with SimCity went bad very quickly. It became a money grab for them and customer satisfaction was neglected. I was so happy to find Colossal Order responded quickly to game issues when I bought Cities Skylines in 2018. However, it has become apparent and I am very sad to say I find Colossal Order has now treated their customers like EA did. It is not acceptable to sell DLC content before fixing the issues caused by previous game updates. Therefore, I will not be buying Cities Skylines 2.

I agree with the frustrations felt by everyone in this thread. It's ridiculous to see them keep churning out new mini-DLC creator packs and not pay attention to fixing bugs in the game. I'm not going to speculate on the state of their QA, but I really think CO needs to be more focused on quality rather than quantity. Many other games published by Paradox do not let their players wait for 5 or 6 months for a patch release.
