The current art for the White House monument is anachronistic and would need to be re-done anyway. But a better candidate for a monument to represent US republicanism is the US Capitol building. Here is the original design:
as we can see, even without its modern adornments, it is a much larger and more impressive building than the White House, then or now. It also reflects the republican-type bonuses of the monument better, being the meeting place of Congress.
