As per title. Instead of aztec invading make a random xeno from stellaris invade.

Or if not a full fledge invasion perhaps a mini stellaris DLC where aliens can discover and uplift you where CK2 would end and you would start playing stellaris in year 1000 as humans who had just been uplifted into a space empire and you play as that empires vassal

Invading a medieval planet in Stellaris takes maybe a week or two at the most to succeed in conquering the entire world. And that's with early game armies. It wouldn't be very fun for random invaders to show up hours into your CK2 games, but unlike the Mongols, Timurids, etc. you don't have a chance. They will literally evaporate your armies in no time at all.

Unless you manage to tease the invaders to their deaths.
