Repeated requests from lowborns to convert

(Apologies if this has been addressed, but several searches didn't turn anything up.)

I just went through a succession as Roman Emperor, having long ago mended the schism. For some reason my heir was Catholic, but I didn't notice until after the succession. (Had a bit of a Mongol problem distracting me.)

I immediately converted to Orthodox, but now am getting multiple (sometimes three at a time) requests from random Catholic lowborn courtiers (usually generals) to convert. In addition to being implausible ("Excuse me, Emperor, but would you like to become a heretic?" - No one ever) it is really annoying. I must get dozens of these requests a year.

Any ideas on a solution? I didn't see anything on this in the 1.08 change log.

Aim your court chaplain at your capital, turn their annoyance at themselves!

Heretics within your court trying to convert you over to the true religion. This is WAD, if you don't want heretics in your court remove them or ask them to convert.

Your court is a representation of the people you see on a daily basis within your realm.

I ask them to convert, then demand if they don't, but it takes time given how many generals got created to lead retinues. I'll sic my chaplain on Constantinople to see if that helps.

How do you ask them to convert? I've only option to demand conversion.

Otherwise, as noted, if you use your court chaplain at your capital you can mass-convert the court like you would a heretic/infidel province. It may take some time to fire though.

When the heretic approaches me it shows up as an option since I have high enough diplomacy, the other two replies being essentially "Yes, I would also like to be a heretic" and "No, thanks." Sometimes when you ask they will convert, then you get 10 piety. If they don't when you ask through the event then you can demand through the diplomacy screen.

I hadn't either (besides the chaplain becomes a heretic event) then today it happened a few dozen times.
