Hey,

I'm about 50 years from finnishing my first full playthrough waiting for the endgame to beginne.
I have 5, 220 fleets around 125k but they have kind of stuck in progress.
Through the fleet overview i see the bonuses I get from armour/shield/hull upgrades, experience, admiral, fire speed etc and the defensive upgrades seems to stack correctly but the 16 upgrades i'v invested in energi, kinetic, missile damage dont show up.
Some ships have av 10% boost but i think its due to experience, my energy should be at 80% with 16 upgrades, kinetic have 12 upgrades.

Last war was around 15 years ago so my fleets have mostly been orbiting and not jumping with the added debuff. They are stationd in regular systems.

Example 125k fleet with 20 battleships and a few picket cruisers. The battleships are neutron which should get the bonus from energy?

Any clue?

there's 2 different boosts each for kinetic, energy and missile weapons

there is damage and speed

now that being said, those numbers go right into fleet power, so it is possible they won't show properly

Yes, incresed rate of fire is accually listed at 60% for my "energy" battleship. This is also confusing. I have 8 upgrades into increased fire rate which should give me a 40% boost in energy, then there is seperate bonus from admiral, edicts and defensive bonus that I guess all weapons benefit from. Maby i had a 20% bonus before i starten with repeatables?

Thing is I cant see how the damage or attack speed upgrades convertes into fleet power. Attack speed should affect the overall dps or monthly and that way increase fleet power.

I went back to my first game which went terrible and compared it with a equal battleship, only difference was armour setup and only 1 upgrade into energy damage. The damage output was basicly the same.
When I look at a Corvette with missile and auto cannons there should be two bonuses, one for energy and one for kinetic but none is listed.

Hopefully im missing something, probably am but it would be nice to know if im just wasting my time with the upgrades.

i think those upgrades only count towards the base damage [before any traits, auras, etc] of each ship depending on the equipment it has

i.e. the fp of each ship preconstruction
