Repeatable crash in December 1450

Description​

Playing Aragon game. Released a province in Catalonia to avoid Sindicat Remenca until after getting iberian wedding. Got a queen regency in 1450 and have been waiting for it to fire with MTTH of 12 months. In December of 1450 game consistently crashes to desktop, possibly related to Iberian Wedding without having decided whether to go peasant republic.

Steps to reproduce​

Load up game and play until end of month. Possible it can be replicated by releasing a province to avoid sindicat remenca and then getting iberian wedding.

The solution is to rollback to 1.36.1. Your game won't crash then.

But I do have to reiterate, it leaves a really bad taste in the mouth that Paradox were fine to leave this until the next update. It's extremely poor.

Trying an unhealthy number of times and pressing the pause button and saving each day seems to have helped me twice to get pass that or maybe the peace deal the Ottomans are taking was different just that one time from the many tries and it did not result in the crash to the desktop bug. Still had it like 40 times just now. Has someone tested this in Multi?

The easiest way to prevent this bug in singleplayer right now is to revert back to version 1.36.1. As for multiplayer, that's a good question. Maybe it depends on who is hosting?

i can confirm, Linux, Ottoman war related, 1450
and i also can confirm downgrading to 1.36.1 works even for the current save game.

That also explains why another game was crashing as dai viet around 1450 ... i thought it was again related to some message popup being broken ..

This bug is still there, turning the game into a basically demo version until 1450s (although we paid for the full one). Are there any plans to fix it? This thread is 5 months old.

Yes, it will be fixed in the new update coming in a week or so. It is unfortunate that it took so long.
