I repaired an American ship that was docked at a British port. It seems to me that shouldn't be possible. Even if it is supposed to be OK, weird things happened after it was done repairing. It showed up in my force pool as ready to deploy, but next to the deployment arrow it said "(Plymouth)". When I clicked on the arrow, it took me to the deployment screen, but didn't list anywhere as valid for deployment. So I exited, and tried again. Now the button didn't work at all. So I left it like that for awhile.
Next time I had occassion to use the deployment screen I tried again, and this time it brought up the deployment box. It still didn't list any fleets that I could deploy the ship into like it normally does, but down at the bottom, where it normally shows the fleet you have selected to deploy into, it said "Task Force C." So I clicked OK and it deployed into Task Force C, then at Norfolk. Task Force C was the fleet it had been in when I repaired it. It might have been transiting the Atlantic when I made my first, failed, attempt to deploy the ship.
