Use the rebase command to send them to a military port (the port type represented by the big circle on the map, not the little tiny port circle). Leave the ships sitting in the port and they will get repaired as part of the normal production sliders in the "reinforcements" category.

Use the rebase command to send them to a military port (the port type represented by the big circle on the map, not the little tiny port circle). Leave the ships sitting in the port and they will get repaired automatically if you have some of your production slider assigned to the "reinforcements" category.

Also note that ports can only fully repair a number of ships up to the port level, so a size 10 port can repair 10 ships. If you send in 15 damaged ships, they'll repair at a slower rate.

Also note that repairing is related to IC-days cost.
A Battleship or Carrier can take months to repair even at full reinforcements.

I thought you could put it back into production to heal radically faster? Leaving ships in port to heal is like waiting for molasses to pour in the Antarctic. I could be wrong though.

A Battleship or Carrier can take months to repair even at full reinforcements.

From what I have noticed:

1 CV repairs 1 Strength in a lvl 10 port every 3 days. So, ballpark figure, you are looking at repairing a heavily damaged CV in about 6-9 months.

If your whole task force is in tatters, it will clutter up your dry docks for a year or more.
