Rename Byzantine/Roman Parliament to Senate

In keeping with the Roman Theme, if you manage to survive as Byzantium or bring over a restored Roman Empire and choose the Constitutional Monarchy government, the Parliament should be named the Byzantine/Roman Senate to herald back to the original Senate.

England is normanic state. Bretwald was a anglo-saxon term.
Tunisians are arab population. Carthaginians were a phoenician population (extra - Carthaginians were completely exterminated "Pax Carthaga")
King is king. Emperor is the emperor. King isn't emperor like sun isn't moon.

I was ironic, I apologize if I failed to explain. (But I could answer that the population of England is Anglo-Saxon, ethnically XD) in Byzantium there was't a senate with some importance at legislative level almost for thousand years, and the title of senator also was no longer used for two hundred years, and disappeared during the latinokratia. Give a senate to Byzantium is exactly like give the Carthaginian senate to the Sultanate of Tunis. Call it "Gerousia" as you suggested earlier, would make more sense

Gerousia is hellenized form of "Forum". In Byzantium using the roman terms on a par with Greece. Autokrator, Basileus, August, Ceaser. IMO if hellenistic nationalism did not win in new republic - term "Senate" makes sense. The Byzantines had a tradition to use the term "Senate". Arabs in Tunisia does not have the tradition to use carthaginian term.

Polish parliament should be called Sejm then. And Russian one should be Duma. And Swedish should be Duma. Why should we give flavour to nation which was cool indeed, but it was doomed and had no power in EU 4 timeframe, and don't give it to countries which were actually great powers?

Well, it's not like I was saying only Byzantium should get it, it was the only one I knew about, I didn't know about the other historical names for senates for any other countries, I just thought having Parliament for everyone seemed a bit flat and generic.
