"Client states can be created from core or non-core provinces that have a direct land connection to your capital or are on the same continent as your capital."

I dont understand the reason for restricting where client states can be created. While playing as the USA I attempted to create client states in the Middle East but couldn't because of the restrictions. (The province in the Middle East was an American core.)

It feels like an unnecessary restriction.

If a province is a core and under my control I want to be able to create a client state from it, no matter where that province is.

I definitely agree. The only time I ever want to create a client state is when I have land that is NOT connected to my capital and is distant. But due to this I can't and to me client states are useless. So this should definitely change.

Well, it might get weird if we can create client states in America or on the african coast. There should definitly be some restrictions on creating client states from overseas territory.
