Firstly, very much enjoying my time with CK3 thus far, it's been a very good experience.

My recommendation is this: I've spent a bit of time reading about the mystical movements and theological perspectives within Christianity, Islam and Judaism and I was wondering if whether there would be an opportunity to more effectively model these religious currents in the game. I think the inclusion of mystical orders within each religion (that allows for political and religious intrigue across borders) would provide an interesting dynamic to the game. You could also try and model the rise of non-mystic fundamentalism/traditionalism as a reaction to these mystical movements. If the competition between the fundamentalists and mystics get out of hand, it could lead to a schism (or something). Some faiths within the game could be more accepting of mysticism and therefore the chances of a fundamentalist vs mystic conflict arising could be reduced.

Such a feature would allow for the effective creation of the Islamic sufi orders, the Franciscans etc (it would also be quite cool to have the ability to create your own) and have those particular orders sanctioned by the head of the religion (meaning that a conflict could never occur, at the cost of cash/piety from the head of the faith).

I believe there should also be a militant side of these orders to allow for the modelling of the Kizilbash and other similar mystic-militant groups.
