Hi, so i'm new to Crusader Kings 2 and i'm currently playing as the magyars. I want to convert to islam now how do i do that?

1 Get a muslim wife or concubine, then convert through the decision.
2 Move your capital to a muslim county then convert through the decision.
3 Conquer a territory neigbouring or close to a muslim independent realm, they will send missionaries.
4 You can let your heir be educated by a muslim, select Heritage focus for him to see him convert.
Some, if not all, of these require specific DLCs.

5 raise your levies, appoint your character as commander. Send this army to a province with muslim religion and now you can convert via decision.
I've tried the first alternative, but i can't marry either a muslim wife or concubine for some reason. The fourth option does not seem to work either :O
Just send your army looting muslim rulers until you capture a muslim gal, you can then make her your concubine. You have to siege/assault the holdings for the capture to happen.
oh! as i said. I suck at Ck2 it's a bit hard in the beginning. I dont know what option i should try.
6, Use a focus that can drink beers. Invite Muslims come to have fun. You become good friends. They will convert you.

I would recommend raiding for a muslim concubine as @Achab described. As a backup you might want to try option 4 as well. The advantage of converting Almos and/or Arpad via concubines is that when you settle as feudal the settled counties will convert to your new religion which will save time and lower revolt risk.
Actually with the Conclave there is also an option to buy favor from a muslim ruler then use that favor to marry one of his courtiers. You will probably have to improve your mutual relations 1st and the favor is quite costly.
