I am the King of Jerusalem, kinsman to the Bastard King of England (House de Normandie).
I want to convert to Orthodox and go for the pentarchy achievement.

From province (SoA)

With the Sons of Abraham DLC, characters can pick up the province religion, if it's in the same religion group but not the top liege's religion. Heretics and pagans are not eligible. The local religion must have at least the same moral authority as the character's old religion. The character's current location is used, so commanders (including rulers) may convert to a foreign religion this way.



So I put my king on 200 man troop army and send him to Constantinople, the capital of Orthodoxy.
I do not see any decision in intrigue menu to change religion.
Am I doing something wrong?

Can someone update it please ?

Not fake, but somebody wrote (probably) nonsense in it.
Purpose or not , hard to say, probably not with bad intentions, but by mistake and confusing things.
Happens.

Indians can change religion to any province religion in their own realm, unless zealous.
Maybe 'commanders' was intended to refer to holy orders or something.

Maybe it's simply outdated, but i can't recall such option. Hmm..well..

As a random event ? Oh...err....don't think so...thouh then it's probably a patch rather than DLC feature..
..and now i recall the decison to be a feature of Rajas of India....confusing. :eek: *sigh*

Ah, it sure works in the local provinces (if i identified the event correctly now), but as commander in another province....don't know.

I realised searching for this how i miss some events that happen only without SoA...
Disabling events is such a bad idea....instead of simply adding more event options with DLC..., but whatever...

A MTTH of 360 months is very long.
So if I understand correctly the modifiers:
- for a cynical vassal => 360*4
- for a religion with moral authority = 90 => 360/2
- for an heresy of the player's religion => 360/4

Not sure I read them correctly tho.

And I don't understand the NOT commands before the low moral authority conditions.

Seeing how you have Rajas, just conquer an Orthodox province and you're good to go- use the "Convert to Local Religion" decision. Alternatively, use education as the poster above mentions or you could even swear fealty to the Byzantines if they're still Orthodox and use the "Convert to Liege's Religion" decision.
