The state of the non-abrahamitic religions of asia are as of now largely skewd. With Paadox for almost every expansion reworking religions or adding new religions, I've alread made a call for more pagan religions in a previous thread: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...dual-removement-of-arbitary-religions.887410/

I want to further encourage the rework of a more historical representation and less arbitariness in religions by suggesting following changes for asian religions: Move the buddistic religions to the dharmic group, which they where historically closer to and more connected to.

Move Shintoism to pagan group and rework the religion totally. The syncretic faith of tengriism seems like a fitting mechanic to work into shintoism.

Confusianism, not so much a religion but rather a philosophy remain alone in the eastern group (renamed sinitic?) or include Taoism.
