:rofl: he'd still keep the name Wallace? I love that :p

Personally, I think there should be different name lists for each nation depending on religion, government type, etc. :)

Government type?

So, basically, it goes like this:

"Hey, hun, how about namin' the little one John"
"Nono, you must be out of your mind! We're living in noble's respublic, John is no approproate name for that. Jim is the right 'un"
"Heck no, Jim is a good name when we have absolute monarchy!"
"To hell with it, Alice it is. Good name for every government"

:D

Yup I'd certainly love to be able to have different names for the different government types (specifically, for the different monarch types, ie, King, Pope, Doge, Sultan) - I think the names would be slightly different if a Republic came along :)

And besides, even if it's not implemented, being able to mod it in would be wonderful.

Someone at some point on here mentioned having flags to switch namelists as government types swap over.

Let me use England as an example:

FEUDAL MONARCHY:

Code:
monarch_names = {
	"Henry #8" = 100
	"Richard #3" = 20
	"Edward #6" = 20
	"James #0" = 5
	"Charles #0" = 5
	"George #0" = 5
}

CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY:

Code:
monarch_names = {
	"Henry #8" = 100
	"Richard #3" = 20
	"Edward #6" = 20
	"James #0" = 5
	"Charles #0" = 5
	"George #0" = 5
}

MERCHANT REPUBLIC:

Code:
monarch_names = {
	"Oliver #1" = 100
	"Richard #1" = 80
	"John #1" = 20
}

THEOCRACY:

Code:
monarch_names = {
	"Evil Papal Sect #14" = 400
}

:p
