Latest betapatch for EU2 was released yesterday - but 1.08 is likely to be the last EU2 patch, which is why we have to wait so long for it..

First of all, Johan IS Paradox.

Second, the beta patches are for public beta testing for the official 1.08 patch. So, I guess it'd be safe to say that there *will* be another patch released by Paradox for EU2.

As far as I know EU2 will most certainly get a patch 1.08. The beta patches however, are NOT official patches, they are not made by Paradox.

They are inofficial patches made by Johan in his SPARE TIME rather then made by Paradox. There is a minute but still important difference. Betapatches are NOT Paradox patches.
