Is this mod dead?
I find it kind of funny that his avatar is the flag of the country that made the concept of the Five-Year Plan and was one of the first to embrace Communism. He doesn't understand that progress is being made, if slowly.
I was being seriousAnd if it isn't a serious question, it's reeeeeally not funny either.
I was being serious
Then, honestly, you're an idiot that hasn't bothered to read anything in the forums. It's rather obvious that the mod is still being worked on, as the SVN is being updated and the devs are fairly active here answering questions and making comments regarding the mod.I was being serious
Assume that we are working on the mod unless we (the team) say otherwise. That's the general rule to follow with just about any mod, really. I've seen some mods that have gone months, even years without so much as a word about being updated, and then poof, there's a new version. But when devs are still talking about the mod, answering questions about the mod, and have said absolutely nothing indicating that the mod is dead, then it's safe to assume the mod's still in development.
Elk, at this point it the team mainly working on the compatibility issues or is any new BM being worked on?
Right now, we're primarily still working on compatibility. Not just in terms of going over files and making them work with the vanilla files, but it also applies to filling out the selection of characters for the Kamal BM. Some of those playable characters might be alive or have children within the 20 years that follow the Kamal Invasion BM, but if you look at many of the dynasties in the files that have been touched upon so far, they had characters who were old but didn't have children. Playing as an elderly character with no heirs can be a bit of a problem in CK2, so that's being addressed.
can you guys lower the fertility of elf's abit more? they always breed so damn much and never die. thus leading me to console command a grand plague to hit.
im on 0.1.6I don't know what version you're using, but this shouldn't be an issue for SVN Revision 697 and 2.4.5. Elven and Tsaesci fertility are coded such that character fertility will drop after each successive child that character has. As for age, they use a different system for their death rate than vanilla, with declining health as they get increasingly old and a correspondingly higher chance of death. Elves and Tsaesci with high health stats can theoretically live over 500 years.
im on 0.1.6
Speaking of the SVN, what's been recently happening? The last version of it I have is from just before Conclave, any neat new features not related to Conclave added? Or is it been mostly compatching?
cant get the SVN to work....everytime i try and load it up it just takes me to the regular CK2 screen. im using 2.4.5 and R697
