without paradox there would 0 good sim games like this so thanks for ur work dude, even though this game is unplayable more than 6 months since it's release. but this is just typical with PC games, more people should purchase instead of steal and they could hire some more help.

Then again you could have the top thread on the list a sticky that says 'PATCH 1.4 WILL BE READY WHEN IT'S READY' you will still have idiots posting asking when it's ready.

My impression with patch 1.4 is that we might not see anything until late March or early April or thereabouts. Total speculation though.

My guess is that this will be the last patch before they start working on the "Rise of the Reich" expansion (I named that myself).

Paradox, when they see the cool name I gave to the expansion, will probably give me the expansion for free.

¿Does the 1.4 Improves de speed of the game in any way? Not complaining about it I think I read it somewhere over the patch notes but can be a mental lapsus.

I haven't measured it specifically, but it seems to be 15-20% faster on my machine (Dual core 3 mhz, 4 GB ram (3.5 useable with Windows XP), and a Nvidia 9500 card). I tried a 1.3 game last weekend to compare and it was noticeably slower.

Good to hear that it's going to be "right" instead of "on time". I'd much rather wait an extra couple of weeks and have something solid, rather than get an "easy answer" right away, and then have to wait another few months for the second patch to fix all of the stuff that the first one didn't.

PI & Johan have you guys on a string and are playing you like puppets.

You are right when you say that PI produce some of the best strategic games around. I love the concept of the HOI series.

However I am a consumer, a customer, a client...whatever. I paid money for a product that has not lived up to expectations. Instead of an apology along the lines of "Gee sorry guys, v1.0 sucked the big lemon, we'll fix it as quick as we can.."

What we get is arrogance "A patch is never early or late..."

If the PI fan club wants to keep getting thier strategic gaming fix from this company they had better start demanding that PI releases games in a usable state and fix any issues in a timely manner, because if the company doesn't thier consumer base will move on and they will go belly up and you the Fan Boys will lose out.

Simple marketing.

Seriously, think about this-
1. How much money did they make from sales of this game?

2. How much money are they losing to develop the game and then new patches after the game was released?

If 1<2= no PI.
