Release info coming at GDC

Release date info from GDC will be "We will not be announcing the release date at GDC".

There's so many ways this could go wrong

"It's coming out soon."
"We don't know yet"
"We're actually still in alpha"
"Charlie stage has just been approved"

I don't think Paradox would make an announcement like that at an event like GDC. If it were something short of a range for a release date, they would probably just come out and say it. Kinda like Johan did with "Q1 is not happening."

With that said, as much as I'd like to get a solid release date, I realistically don't expect to get one at GDC..... I hope I'm wrong. Either way, I'm super excited for what they have to say.

I just hope they release it before stellaris. They'll probably avoid releasing two games so close together, so there will likley be a delay between the two games release. And I think we would all be quite upset if they delayed hoi4 after all it's been through just because release dates don't match up.

It would be awesome if PDS also could reveal what DLC we(The beta signers) will get for free ? Is it still Beta signup exclusive, or will everyone get this DLC?

I like to think they've something big planned since the delay and what not, maybe even for everyone. But hey, as you said it's probably something very small and specific like "Nigerian communist leader face pack"
