When will be the release time. Should I follow Steam or Johan?

I suggest, bank on steam, but hope for Johan.

Steam seems to say about 20:00 BST.
Johan seems to say about 14:00 BsT

Depends where you live. For Australia it is on the 14th of August, though not sure at what time. I would imagine if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, then it would most likely be the 13th of August (If in Sweden, it would be 09:00 am CEST, I believe), but if you live in the Southern Hemisphere than it would most likely be the 14th of August.

Probably released early in the morning in Europe, so Paradox can start fixing any day 1 bugs right away.

9PM is a pretty strange time to release a game IMO. They might as well make it August 14th then.

I've often seen steam games go from "Will unlock in 5 hours" to "Available now" instantly.

Um... Everywhere. It's released at the same time to the whole world. Whatever time it is right now, wherever you are, in 35 hours, Steam reckons the game will be unlocked.

steam dates are not always 100% correct could be it will still show 5 more hours to go tomorrow and DING there it is. i trust johan. even old gods came out in the middle of the day ^^
