PS.: When I saw this topic, I was searching everywhere to see where this was announced including Facebook, and this is only on the Paradox page, same thing as EvW. Could you guys just make an announcement straight away next time? It is just that "Oh yes... didn't we mentioned that? Oops!" feeling... The majority of the community will understand and support you, so let us know

At the end of the day it's just a game. Waiting an extra few months isn't going to kill you. Alternatively you could freeze yourself a la that episode of South Park, just be sure you don't overshoot it by too much.

It's important to note that EvW is Paradox published, while Victoria 2 / HoD is Paradox developed.

That both these games are getting delayed is a coincidence, but the delay of one does not reflect on the status / quality / progress of the other, given that the people behind them are two completely separate teams.

It's important to note that EvW is Paradox published, while Victoria 2 / HoD is Paradox developed.

Actually not that simple. I believe Paradox is working more closely with the outside devs than a simple publisher relationship. Note that it is listed in the PDS section of the forum.

I was really surprised when I first saw that Q1 release date, so the fact that it got delayed is not surprising to me, in fact it even makes me happy they are taking more time. If PI needs more time to make a great product, then I'm all for it.

My personal guess is the actual date did not move at all but rather someone thought that April was a Q1 month.

I don't understand. March is the last month in Q2, so they aren't listing any delay. Either way they say it, HoD will be out by March 31st. If it listed a Q3 release date, which begins in April, then it would be a delay.
