Higher price in terms of content are at least to some extent due to choice given. Revenue = Price * sales. If, for example, 50% of EU4 owners buy DLC X then the price of DLC X should be twice as much than what it would cost as part of the base game to make the same revenue. Right?
I don't see your point. I've sunk over €120 in EU3 as well with the 4 expansions, with CKII you can at least pick what you like.Right! And if that content was in the game in the first place I could be sold for 42,5€ by the same logic. But deal is that people are collector creatures and most of us get that just to have feel it's complete game, this is not like rifle skin in FPS, it's game for people who like history, flavor and accuracy of facts, noone sure as hell doesnt want their camel riders to look like hussars, it's imersion killer. Sooner or later I'd bet majority of people playing the game get all DLCs. Oh, and I forgot, game is 40(of wahetver $ or €, depends where you live and where do you buy) but if you 1) preorder and 2) get turbo version you get 4 additional DLCs for 5€/$. If you are just waiting for review/demo it'll cost you more, probably assuming each DLS is 2€/$ so it would be 48 or more.
As it was mentioned, without sale CK2 was more then 100€ with all DLCs before TOG, now add 21€ to that... we are getting closer to 150€ for a game... a great game (with mods) but still, too pricey by any standard. Unless you wait for sale. Dont know, I was sure that I would be happy to buy (or even preorder, which I have done only once so far) EU4, but all this day 1 DLC milking makes me want to practice self-controll and wait till some sale. Which is appearantly solution to this whole discussion, because everthing "loyalist" suggest is to STFU and wait for sale if you think pricing is wrong/DLC on day 1 is not cool.
Game is digital distribution on Steam only. Tho I'm not sure if you can buy it on amazon, you can buy steam key on most of the digital retailers. Will the game be available on amazon or as CD, i dont rly want to give my contacts to all of the world ?

Yes i know its a steamworks game, what i am asking is if there will be physical copies sold. Skyrim and many games are Steam only, yet i own a physical box copy of most of my Steam games.
Get it now and you get free set of knives!
He didn't mention integrating them...He did mention the time it takes to make them. If you can research, design, script, and test enough events to make up a small DLC in "a matter of minutes" and have them work perfectly with no errors then you should apply to work here, because you'd be far better than any of us at this.
