Purple Phoenix (I have no idea what that is),
CK2 Exporter (DLC for CK2?).

Will GG and Steam share the monopoly on the release? This leaves the consumer with the short end of the stick as steam's pricing is extortionate. I'm looking at Rome 2 at £45 when it is £30 in loads of other places.

What? Publishers/devs decide the price, not Steam. Also, almost every other dd site (GMG, Amazon, Gamefly, etc) will sells Steam versions. They will all most likely have the same base price.

Polls are funny though.

We have a higher percentage of people buying DLC than the old-type expansions.

Day 1 DLC does not indicate that they are intentionally with-holding gameplay from the user, unless the data is within the game download/CD, but it does indicate they needed additional time to develop said Day 1 DLC after the game was being shipped off to QA etc.

There are stages to development beyond "send game to steam, receive moneys"

EDIT: Johan, if you're reading this, I just want to say the current DLC model for the Paradox games is literally the ideal. I'm a tiny bit concerned about the Muslim DLC, but I have faith there's a good reason for it.
