In that case, I hope you only discovered the game recently. New versions were way more frequent a couple of years ago...for me it is pretty impossible to play and enjoy EU4 as is at least 3 months before the release of a new version...

Man, must be nice, having all that free time. We just get a few weeks per year around here.Well for all of August it's the PD Tinto guy's holidays I believe. So the absolute earliest it could be would be mid-September. Realistic assumption would be around early to mid October.
Ahhh Ok got you, yeah I feel like they never give themselves enough time to process feedback from the community and end up just releasing them as a patch after the DLC is launched. No I don't mean the vacation. I mean that it's been many weeks already since they've been saying it's too late to do any significant changes in the build. When they start the Dev Diaries they've got everything more or less decided. Something as small as a 0.1 becoming a 0.2 in idea groups they can do, or making it so the Hungarian and Swiss mercenaries don't cost professionalism. But something a little bigger wouldn't be feasible with the timeframe they have.
Ideally the dev diaries should start earlier, or the developing should be given like an extra month to incorporate chunkier ideas the community might have brought in the dev diary discussion and they've liked.
Oh man tell me about it! I have been playing since day one, and I kind of got used to a weird habit of playing the game ZEALOUSLY in the one month that followed a new release (I am talking up to 12 hours a day) and then a new update or DLC would be announced so I would get back to the forums to check out the progress, biding for my time to play againIn that case, I hope you only discovered the game recently. New versions were way more frequent a couple of years ago...
Infiltrated modWhen it's ready. There's no need to rush the devs.
Oh my you got me. Poor, poor me. Honestly i don't get you people?! When they released 1.31 Majapahit patch you all whined that it was rushed, buggy, unplayable and indead it was... And now you seriously want something rushed so you can whine later how it's messed. Have you al ready forgoten what a mess was Leviathan and how long it took to fix everything?Infiltrated mod
It would be cool if they release it in september. I could wait for couple weeks because of my b day. Although they did say something will happen on 25 August. Could be name anouncment of Scandinavian DLC as well 1.34 patch.I guess that it will either be released in 8th or 15th September.

The problem is, the patch needs to be released in order for them to know what to fix in the first place. No amount of in-house testing can compare to actual thousands of people all playing the game, all on different setups, with different countries, and different goalsOh my you got me. Poor, poor me. With how long the build has been frozen for many aspects of the game, I don't think its beyond pale to expect release soonOh my you got me. Poor, poor me. Honestly i don't get you people?! So basically what you're saying is to release something like 1.31 and later on patch things up. Because that's your standard, a broken, unpolished mess that later on must be fixed. I get it that you all want 1.34, i want it to, but i'm willing to wait until it's ready. The problem is, the patch needs to be released in order for them to know what to fix in the first place. No, my point is that a certain amount of bugs in unavoidable until after release, whether we like it or not.So basically what you're saying is to release something like 1.31 and later on patch things up. Sure but the timing is still important. Releasing it early august would mean 4-5 weeks of bug before a patch because of summer vacation. Like for emperor release. No, my point is that a certain amount of bugs in unavoidable until after release, whether we like it or not.
