Relation between Protestants and Reformeds

In-game, protestants and reformeds are considered heretics to each other, giving a relation malus, but...

In reality, did the Protestant (Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, etc.) hate the Reformed (Calvinists, Puritans, etc.) as the Catholics hated them?

Didnt the representative of the Lutherans and the Calvinists (namely Calvin and Luther) discuss with each other how they were supposed to conduct their business and Luther left in disgust/anger because of Calvin being extremely hell bent on doing things his way?

I think, amateurishly speaking, that there was some resentment given that Calvinists and Lutherans saw stuff differently, even if they per se reformed Catholicism in the same way. I could be wrong though.

In terms of internal religious strife yes every religion that wasn't the exact same was considered heretical. However in the geopolitical scheme of things reformed and protestant worked together against the catholics.

I don't know of any specific conflict where Portestants(Luthern especially) fought against Reformed people (Calvinists). A decent example would be the English Civil War. Oliver Cromwell and his Parliamentaries where mostly Calvinists, while the Royalists of Charles I where mostly Anglican. That's the only historical example I know of.

I think they consider each other heretics, but not hate each other much, and don't hate other religions much. It is the Catholics that intolerate.
