There could be good ideas in there that i skipped over only due to the fact that you want to lock buildings behind acsension perks. I already feel like there are not enough buildings in this game atm and locking the few that we have behind acsension perks feel like multiple steps backwards.

I like all of those ideas.
I would even go as far to say, that one needs 2 Tradition Trees (one of which should focus in mega-construction bonuses, and instead ditch "Master Builders" Perk) completed to unlock 1 Ascension Perk and only have 4 Perk slots, to make the decisions even more meaningful.

Megastructure build costs should then also be adjusted, and, more importantly, not be restricted to building 1 at a time.
Get the "respectfully disagrees" coming ;)

...the only buildings I mentioned are the Arcology and Habitation Ring, for planets and starbases respectively, which are completely new. What are you on about?
