Venice had a fine session 26LT above everyone else. Built shipyards, manus, investing in infra now cause i fell behind getting to 26LT, well i always go full LT once 18LT..its a strat i kept from 1.05 and havent let go of it . Fun fun. Offering to buy milan, france can set the price. made a few settlements, havent built a navy since people are bragging about their tiny navies i should build a massive one anywho

Naval invasion of England was fun Murad IV at the head of 100k turks got to kick some swedish ass along with English soldiers and foil the first swedish attempt to take london, then proceeding to liberate most of the provinces held by sweden in the british isle. Meanwhile, 50k turks guarded the portuguese homeland, and although it saw no battle, it certainly helped deter invasion. After a while, Murad picked up the remnants of its army and headed home as the swedish were regrouping far from the british isles and was welcomed along with his army as heroes.

For some reason I feel that this is the start of the ship empire that happens to have a little land. Going into this session I had twice as many ships as everyone else, but not noticing, and then not preparing as fully as I could have meant suddenly that navy was 1/3rd of the largest lol. I have no doubt you can have a large navy though, Venice has been hyperteching (on top of what they already had given from PE) for the past 100 years.

I think the funniest thing is that although both Drake and I put restrictions on trade, had Tonio have so much as asked he would have had first access to both CoTs of ours. But if you don't ask, you don't receive, and I guess this is the case here.

The funniest think that Drake refuced me two times open trade at icq negotiations, despite i saw only Tago and Zanzibar. The other funniest think was violating by England devision in NA - they colonized canada, where it should be sweden one. England argued it is against NL, but why they colonize one province to level 3 then ? That is called my allies.

Excellent session for the spanish emperor. Due to the heavy diplomatic efforts during the past sessions spain could stay out of all hostilities and was neutral.

Not accepting the limitations of traders in trading centers of porto and england spain granted limited acess for france to teach them a lesson. But after some diplomatic efforts of portu und ottoman spain decided to set a time limit for this acess.

Income crowth of spain is about 20 % most of it came from the improved trading results. With reaching lvl 7 infra Spain closed now the military tech cap and also worked on builting their Armada which counts now impressive 334 Warships. 10% of this ships are pirate hunters

The event flow was unsatisfactory as 3 centr -1 events hit the spanish empire leaving it with centralisation 7 now.

I'd just like to point out 2 things :
- from the rules, "limited wars are encouraged...do not set the world on fire"... so, i assumed there should be european fights OR colonial fights... but i've been attacked in southern africa
- "no capital besieging before 4 years of war"... fine, but the austrian troops tried to sack paris just 1 year after dowing

hehe, i am not complaining but make sure we all speak the same language in future wars

Dont forget the huge advantage venice had......and i had to catch up not only in land but also in naval....so making 12 lvls isnt that bad i think. On the other hand venice is my friend...so who cares?

Portugal and England decided to proclame an unacceptable limitation of trade in their CoT.
Although till then we hadn't been really concerned, we joined the swedish crusade against this shocking decision.
Our problem was to reach our enemies because of a lack of navy. Therefore, we passed through Spain in spite of attrition losses but we lost our best leader just before the dow .
We didn't have time enough to besiege Portugal homeland before Spain finally breaks the military access they had given to us.
From this moment it was quite impossible to reach Portugal, but we still could reach England... Unfortunately, we thought the Channel had been secured by the swedes but it wasn't and our 35 ships were destroyed by the english armada (with an army on board ).
That's the moment when Austria decided to dow our alliance, taking advantage of our war exhaustion. the first months were very bad for us and austria took milan, piemonte and then champagne and bourgogne and besieged paris...and portugal could quietly steal our colonies in africa. But then came a better leader for us, and they were beaten away from paris, and champagne and bourgogne returned.
We probably could have make a better deal by remaining on war, but as we have already started to discuss peace, we stopped here.
Now, french economy is to be rebuilt, and some offenses will have to be paid back by traitors
