in fact i m for the general rule : not more than 2 cores may be lost in a war vs human it means, that if 2 humans allies or not,dow another, they may gain 2+2 provs (if cores of enemy),or more if none core is lost but if this rule is disallowed,i d say that it should stay if the countries are not in same alliance i think yesterday everything was made under rule,in fact OE and Spain are not bitching that lot even coz the wars were balanced, without backstabb or gangs

This is how I understood it. Why the hell would I have went to war with Ottos if I couldn't get anything because Austria would have gotten 2 provs already? The rule is you can't lose more than 2 cores vs another player. Not vs an alliance or team of players. Big difference.

Actually the forced continued vassalage was in my game, Imperial Europe 3. I haven't seen any such rules written here. There is a rule about being forced-vassalised, which is 25 yrs, but this isn't the case.
I asked drake about it :) But he has allready replied to it here

Ok, I'll wait for the GMs' decision about the cores I took from Spain, although I am still thinking that no rule has been broken by the Dutch and me. :(

I won't talk more about this in this thread, but be sure I will look very carefully to what will go on in other future wars, as I'm sure that there will be many other ambiguous cases :D

I just ask to be given the definitive answer before friday because as I'll be away I wanna know what to say to my sub

Nice one! It sure is annoying with all that gold inflation for Spain. The only problem would be if Venice was to lose the aztecs to a protestant nation I guess.

protest to GMs. Venice wouldn`t be able to receive such number of maps by random explorers/conqs, and max number of edited is 10 province/sea zones per deal, as rule are telling now. If it is one sided deal, like this, both sides should be stabhitted by -1

The trade is 10 vs 10 maps ....all other maps ...provided he will get all...which i dont know is a compensation for the first session where he lacked explorers.

You can relax the GMs are informed, they will decide how much is to be revealed now. Venice will give 10 maps as spain will give 10 maps.

Venice knows quite a lot of provs from start. But thank you for the vote of confidence.

I know i said i wouldn't post anymore about this problem, BUT :
actually, the rule said a country can lose max 2 cores to another person
That's not exactly the same, and that's where the problem is coming from
