Registering the game

I had try to register the game in the forum with the key that Gamersgate provides to me, but I've got an error message.
Invalid key.
Is it already working?

I think that key is for steam only. We will probably get another from the game itself... or something...

Yes, you'll have to wait for the game to go live on steam and then you can get your forum key from there!

Wait until the game is live (this evening) and then right click on CiM2 in your game library and choose "Show serial key" or something like that... and voila: Your forum key!

So, if i bought the game via Gamersgate,( Damn what i was thinking that day), then I get the key from gamersgate and go to Steam. Create an account there, activate the game with that key and wait until the release is done. And once I get the game in Steam try to find a new serial key in the steam app?
Is that correct?
Do I understand well? :sad:
