Registering EUIV on the forum?

So yea my problem is, how do I register my EUIV game so I can partake fully in the bounties of this land.

I know I go to "my games" and register but the registration code does not work. Should I only use part of my registration code or should I use some other hidden code I am not aware of?

I got my game from Gamers Gate if that matters.

In Steam right-click on Europa Universalis and click "View CD Key" (second option). That's the code you need.
